Snappy respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent UK copyright law.

How Snappy works

Snappy users upload their own photos of items they personally own. The AI analyses those photos to write a listing.

We store the photos with the listing they created, because the listing history, the shareable listing page and the auto-relist tool all need the original images. Photos are deleted when the user deletes the listing or their account. Anyone a seller shares a listing with can see its photos — see our Privacy Policy for the detail.

If a photo or listing on Snappy uses your copyrighted work without permission, the process below applies to it.

Copyright takedown requests

If you believe that content on Snappy infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to hello@snappylisting.co.uk including:

• Your name and contact details
• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location
• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised
• A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-notices

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address.

Response time

We aim to respond to valid DMCA notices within 5 business days.
